1. Community Purpose
Citytodoo is a hyperlocal community directory connecting Gainesville, FL families and residents with local events, culture, and business activities.
2. Review & Moderation
Submitted events are not published automatically. Our editorial team reviews every request to ensure event accuracy and compliance with community guidelines. We reserve the right to edit the formatting of your submission, reject its publication, or remove an already-published event at any time and at our sole discretion, without obligation to provide a reason. Review and approval times are not guaranteed.
3. Information Accuracy & Media Rights
By submitting an event, you confirm that all provided details are accurate and that you possess all necessary rights and permissions for any uploaded cover image.
4. Contact Privacy
Your personal contact details (name, email, phone) will strictly be used for event administration and notification. We never sell or share contact info with third parties.
5. Citytodoo Does Not Organize or Guarantee Your Event
Citytodoo is a listing platform only — we do not organize, sponsor, staff, or run the event you're submitting. You, the organizer, are solely responsible for the event actually taking place as described, including any date changes, delays, or cancellations, and for keeping attendees informed of them.
6. You're Responsible for What Happens at Your Event
Citytodoo has no role in supervising or staffing your event. Any injury, property damage, theft, altercation, or other incident that occurs at your event, and any dispute between attendees, vendors, or the organizer arising from it, is solely your responsibility — not Citytodoo's.
7. Indemnification
By submitting this event, you agree to indemnify and hold Citytodoo, Inc. harmless from any claim, damage, liability, or expense — including reasonable legal fees — brought by a third party arising out of or related to your event.
8. Permits & Legal Compliance
You represent that your event will comply with all applicable local laws, permits, and regulations — including any required municipal permits, public space or venue authorizations, and alcohol or food vendor licenses. Obtaining and confirming these is your responsibility as the organizer; Citytodoo does not verify permits or licensing on your behalf.

Anyone can suggest an event — no account needed. Here's what happens after you submit:
- 1 Fill in details — name, date, venue, price. Complete info gets reviewed faster.
- 2 Our team reviews it before it goes live on the calendar.
- 3 Once approved, it appears on the public events calendar.
We'll only contact you if we need to clarify something before approving.
